Ok well I know I said this wasn't about Vanity, but I lied (at least for one page).

Hi. My name is Annette Kent. I'm 23 years old and as of April 16th I'll be living in Uppsala, Sweden for 4 months playing soccer for a professional soccer club.

Welcome to my personal page. Here's all you need to know about me and my political views, etc.. . .

1. I'm a genious
2. I hate Ketchup
3. I have multiple personalities
4. Illinois should have never lost the NCAA Championship
5. I have no concept of what it means to be an adult
6. I don't do paperwork, 9-5 office jobs (smothered in a cubicle), math or long conversations saturated in small talk.
7. Don't do Horror movies either
8. I don't go anywhere without my IPod (however I am not as obsessed as my brother )
9. I could be catergorized as "technologically lazy", meaning my attention span is extremely short when it comes to reading directions and fiddling with software, manuals or malfunctioning equipment. (and yes my cell phone is still in the throws of a massive technological seizure because I refuse to battle with the soulless monsters at Cingular.

Any more information about me and I might have to kill you.

Well not really, I just figure 9 things is plently. . .you probably won't read this far anyway.

Things I miss. . .(these are not complaints; just vague reminders of what used to be)

1. Not having to take my shoes off every time I enter a household

2. The English Language

3. MTV (the American version)

4. Movies/Television. I was so desperate to see a movie the other day that I was almost moved to watch Inspector Gadget. Help me, I can see my soul fading. . .

5. Eggos

6. A dryer to dry my clothes. You have to hang your clothes here and I'm telling you I have just now figured out the literal meaning of fabric softener.

7. Trashy gossip magazines like US (they exist here, but we can't read them nor do we know who's on the cover)

8. My Car (only sometimes)

9. Silence

10. And oh yeah, My friends and family. . . Love ya

Things I like

1. The nights. At 10 pm it's still light out. It's rediculous.

2. The crazy music videos that come on Swedish music channels.

3. The simplicity of taking the bus everywhere.

4. Not having a typical 9-5 job. Actually that should be No. 1

5. Not having a cell phone. Technically this is a lie, since I do have a cell phone. However, it's never on and therefore doesn't exist.

6. A store called Stadium. It's the equivalent of Urban Outfitters and Sportmart mixed together. The only problem is it's crazy expensive.

7. Having soccer as my only real job.

8. To be continued. . . .
